Fishing & Catching#

Fishing Sessions: Cast your line, build streaks for rarity bonuses, and try not to let fish escape. Sessions include guaranteed catches and session rewards.

Locations & Travel: 44 fishing locations across 4 regions. Each has its own species, base value and XP. New locations unlock as you level up.

Rarities & Traits: Fish range from Common to Unique, each with different value and XP multipliers. Traits like Shiny, Giant and Pearlescent, plus breeding-only mutations, change how a fish looks and what it's worth.

Monster Fish Events: Sometimes a huge boss fish shows up and everyone in the channel can fight it together. Top finishers win chests, and 1st place has a chance to catch the monster as a Unique-rarity fish.

Random Events: Short encounters like riddles, lucky frogs and wishing wells. You can win something but never lose anything.

Seasonal Fish & Variants: Seasonal events add limited-time fish you can catch with seasonal bait.

Progression#

XP & Leveling: Level up to 125 and unlock new locations, equipment, and features. XP is earned from every catch and scales with location, rarity, and traits.

Achievements: Milestones for reaching levels, catching rarities, visiting locations and earning coins. Each one gives rewards, and some give titles.

Titles: Cosmetic titles from achievements and chests. Equip one to show it on your profile.

Collection & Journal: Track the hundreds of species across every location. Completing a location unlocks a background and a rarity bonus. Finishing the whole journal earns the World Cataloguer title and an achievement.

Economy & Resources#

Coins, Pearls & Vote Tickets: Three currencies. Coins come from selling fish. Pearls are harder to get and buy premium items. Vote tickets come from voting.

Shop & Purchasing: Buy rods, bait, consumables, gear, and server-wide buffs. Prices scale with your level and progress.

Consumables & Buffs: Potions and items that give timed boosts to XP, rarity, sell value or cooldown. Some, like Magnets, have special effects.

Gear & Equipment: Rings, gloves and other gear that give fishing bonuses. Salvage 10 spare pieces into a chest.

Camp & Passive Income#

Fishing Camp: Unlocks at level 15. Build and upgrade the Bait Bin, Display Tank, Tackle Shop and Breeding Tank for passive income.

Display Tank: Display your best fish. They earn coins over time, or pearls if they're Pearlescent. Income stops building after 3 days.

Bait Bin: Makes free bait every 4 hours. Higher levels make more bait and better kinds.

Nets (Passive Fishing): A net catches fish while you're away. Nets unlock at level 10 and come in five tiers, with better odds at higher tiers.

Collection & Display#

Fish Tank: Where kept fish go. Sort and filter by rarity, trait, fertility, size or catch date, and bulk-sell what you don't want.

Tank Customization: Permanent upgrades that let your tank hold more fish, up to hundreds.

Fish Codes & Naming: Every fish has an 8-character code. Look it up with /fishinfo or give it a name.

Breeding & Mutations#

Fish Breeding: Build a Breeding Tank and breed two compatible fish. The offspring inherit species, rarity and traits from their parents.

Breeding-Only Mutations: Rare traits that only appear from breeding: Gilded (3.5× value), Bioluminescent (2.5× value), and Colossal (massive size and 1.8× value). Breeding Tank level increases mutation chance.

Daily & Repeatable Content#

Daily Rewards: Claim once per 24 hours for coins, with streak bonuses up to +750 extra coins per day.

Daily Quests: 3 quests a day: 2 shared by everyone and 1 based on your level. Complete all 3 for bonus chests. A quest completion streak unlocks rarer chests.

Referral System: Share your code with friends. When they reach level 10, you earn 150 pearls and they earn 100 pearls.

Voting Rewards: Vote for CozyCasting on bot listing sites to earn Vote Tickets. Enter them in the weekly raffle, or spend them with the Roaming Trader every Thursday for gear and consumables.

Guilds: Founding a guild takes level 10 and 1 million coins. Guilds have levels, shared chests, and member bonuses that stack with your own.

Guild Camp & Buildings: Guilds build shared buildings that give every member faster bites, more XP, better rarity or bait savings. Production buildings make logs and stone.

Guild Missions: One weekly mission for every guild. Completing it gives all members -5% fishing cooldown the next week.

Trading: Trade coins, pearls, fish, gear, bait, and more with other players. Use /give to send something or /trade to swap.

Leaderboards: Server and global rankings by fish caught, XP, coins and more.

Weekly & Monthly Contests: Race to catch the most fish each week or month and win pearls and Unique Chests. Winners appear in the Hall of Champions on the website.

Contest Pier: A weekly contest across seven rotating locations where gear and level don't matter. Three competitions a week, each paying 50 pearls and a Unique Chest.

Profile & Customization#

Profile Cards: A "fishing licence" image with your avatar, level, stats and a showcase fish. Change its background, name style and stamps.

Card Customization: Backgrounds unlock from leveling and completing locations. Name styles and stamps come from achievements and titles.

Pets: Companions that come fishing with you. Pets have their own rarities and can be nicknamed.

Compact Mode: Text-only embeds with no images, for slow connections or screen readers.

Species Journal: Supporters only. Your collection on a map of all 44 locations, with your progress at each and the species you can catch there.

Dashboard: Supporters only. Catches per day, rarity breakdown, catches by rod and location, achievements with dates, and your full catch history with sorting and filters.

Leaderboards: Live global and server rankings, plus past winners.

Hall of Champions: Every Weekly and Monthly Fishing Champion, with dates and fish counts. No sign-in needed.

Rare-Catch Feed: Mythical and Unique catches from every server as they happen. Anonymous unless you and your server admin both opt in.

Global Statistics: Game-wide totals: fish caught, active anglers, rarity split, species discovered and the heaviest fish ever caught. No sign-in needed.

Supporter and Server Pass#

Supporter Subscription: Monthly subscription. You get one item a week, two perks of your choice, a monthly profile-card background, and the website Journal and Dashboard. The higher tier adds a monthly Server Boost Pass.

Server Pass: One-time purchase. Activating it turns on every purchasable server buff for 30 days in one server: XP Boost, Faster Bites, Cooldown Reduction and Sell Boost.

Utility & Accessibility#

Notifications: Optional DM reminders for cooldowns, /daily, votes, full nets and more. Turn each type on or off.

Units Toggle: Switch between imperial (in/lbs) and metric (cm/kg) for fish sizes and weights.

Command Lookup: /lookup searches rods, baits and consumables so you can check stats before you buy.

Effects Tracker: /effects shows your active buffs and how long each has left.

Redeem Codes: Codes for free coins, bait, consumables and exclusive items. New codes are posted in the official Discord.
