What's on it#
The front page shows a live feed of Mythical and Unique catches from every server, plus how many fish were caught in the last day and how many anglers played today. Anyone can see it.
Anglers on the feed show as Anonymous Angler unless their server's admin
turned names on with /settings globalfeed enabled:True. Any player can remove
themselves from the feed with /globalfeed, which also removes their name from
entries already on it.
Game-wide totals show how many fish have been caught across every server, how many anglers play, the split by rarity, how much of the species list has been discovered, and the heaviest fish ever caught. Anyone can see them. They're totals only and don't name anybody.
The species journal is the website version of /collection and /fishinfo,
and it's a Supporter feature. The same journal is free in Discord with
/collection; the website adds a map and search. It opens on a map of all 44
locations grouped by region, each showing how much of its species list you've
caught. Pick a location to see every species that lives there. Species you
haven't caught are silhouettes with their names hidden. The ones you have caught
show in colour, with how many you've caught and when you caught the first one.
Click any fish, caught or not, for its size and weight range, its colours and
patterns, the other places it lives, and how many have been caught by everyone.
Below the 44 locations is Special Waters: the 31 Monster Fish and the 3 seasonal exclusives, which don't belong to any location. They don't count toward anything: not the rarity bonus, the Naturalist titles, World Cataloguer or The Complete Journal. Seasons end and events get missed, so nothing depends on them. They're listed so the ones you caught still show up somewhere.
Each location has its own link, so adding ?loc=na_deep_sea to the address goes
straight there. ?loc=special_monster works too.
Your dashboard shows your own stats in more detail than a Discord embed can,
and it's a Supporter feature. The same information is free in Discord with
/profile, /collection and /leaderboard. Sign in to see:
- Where you stand: level and XP, coins and pearls, your best single sale, your session and daily streaks, how many species you've caught, and how many locations you've completed.
- What you've been catching: catches per day for the last 90 days, your catches by rarity, and which locations and rods you use most.
- What you're fishing with: your rod, bait and equipped gear with each piece's stats, and the totals.
- Achievements: every achievement with the date you earned it and how rare
it is, earned ones first. You can filter by name. They're also in Discord under
/profile→ Achievements. - Your catch history: every fish you've caught, including ones you sold. Sort by date, value, weight or length, and filter by rarity. Click a fish for its size, weight, value, where and when you caught it, its traits and its code.
The dashboard only shows your stats. There are no public profiles and no way to look someone else up.
The Contest Pier page shows this week's contest: the seven locations with today's highlighted, the three competitions and their live standings, the target size when that competition is running, and past weeks with the titles they awarded. No sign-in needed.
Check it before you use a day's casts, since the schedule tells you where the
pier will be tomorrow. Tied anglers share a rank, the same way the pier awards
co-winners. Your own casts and rank are in Discord with /contest.
Two things on the site are called a contest. The pier is the one where gear and level don't matter. The leaderboard and the Hall of Champions are the fish-count race, where they matter a lot.
The Hall of Champions lists every past Weekly and Monthly Fishing Champion, newest first, with the dates and how many fish the winner caught. It shows what was awarded at the time, and periods nobody won are listed as such. No sign-in needed.
The current race (your rank, the prize, the time left) is in Discord on
/leaderboard, scope Contest. If you opted out of the rare-catch feed with
/globalfeed, your wins show as Anonymous Angler with the fish count.
Server-of-the-month winners are announced in Discord only, and no server is named
on the website.
Caught, held, and in your tank#
The dashboard shows three numbers that are easy to mix up:
- Fish caught, all time is every fish you've caught. Selling one doesn't change it.
- Fish you hold now is what you currently own. A fish someone traded to you counts here, but not toward what you caught.
- In your tank is only the fish in your tank.
Signing in#
Most pages need no sign-in: species pages, shared catches, the rare-catch feed, the game-wide totals, the leaderboard, the Hall of Champions and the Contest Pier. The journal and the dashboard need a sign-in and an active Supporter subscription.
Signing in asks Discord for the identify scope only: your Discord id, name
and avatar. It can't read your messages, your email or your server list, and no
Discord token is stored. Signing out ends the session. See the
Privacy Policy for details.
What counts as caught#
The journal uses the same data as /collection, so the two always match:
- Only fish you caught count. A fish someone traded to you counts for whoever caught it.
- Selling a fish doesn't remove it. Once you've caught a species somewhere, it stays logged.
- Bred fish don't count. Offspring take their parent's location, so breeding can't fill in a location you never fished.
- Species are logged per location. Sunfish live in both the Appalachian Stream and the Great Lakes Pond, and catching one in the stream doesn't count for the pond.
- Species lists are different in each region. The Himalayan Stream and the Appalachian Stream are both streams, but they have different fish.
Cost#
Most of the site is free and needs no account: species pages, shared catches, the rare-catch feed, the game-wide totals, the leaderboard, the Hall of Champions and the Contest Pier.
Your dashboard and the species journal need an active Supporter subscription. Both show information the bot already gives you for free in Discord, in more detail. See Supporter for what a subscription includes.
The journal can be up to five minutes behind. If something you just caught isn't showing yet, wait a moment and refresh. The dashboard's totals update within a minute, and your catch history is always current.
